A Hidden Kitten in Need
A curious little calico lived among other cats in a cluttered lot, always hiding and avoiding human contact. One day, a towing company sought help from Alley Cat Project to relocate these cats for their safety, as the area was filled with potential dangers.
Volunteers set up humane traps, patiently watching the camera feed for any sign of the elusive felines. Their efforts paid off when a tiny calico was lured out by the enticing aroma of food and captured, alongside two orange tabbies.
Initially, the calico seemed uninterested in her companions, displaying fear and aggression. Josh Norem, a compassionate foster volunteer, noticed her distress and gave her space and patience for her to adjust.
Gradually, the calico’s demeanor changed. Her initial fear melted away, revealing a gentle purr and a curiosity about human interaction. This transformation marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
